A cancer survivor story! Ah not exactly on surviving the physical aspect. Did she recover completely physically? Not stated explicitly in the review. But the story it seems is more about surviving the negative implications of knowing you have one (My God!) and much more - that of discovering the finer priorities in life. I am not fond of memoirs. I have heard and read, partially and completely, stories about changes of life of cancer patients and survivors. But they are always inspiring. And even for stone-hearted readers, it can draw out a lot of emotions. Nice!

The difficult period in her life is something I can only picture. How exactly did she overcome everything? I'm curious. I'm sure to appreciate this book.

In this inspirational memoir, the circumstances and challenges Jonne experienced and how she survived the traumas life offered her seem worth reading.

I am fascinated by the author's physical and emotional journey of recovery and self-discovery. I am intrigued by the severity of the incident that left the author traumatized. I am interested in learning how the author Joanne will cope with her cancer diagnosis given the fact that her sister died due to cancer.

It seems like "By Accident: a memoir of letting go" is a really touching and motivating memoir that talks about how Joanne Greene managed to stay strong despite facing some really tough times. She is a fighter and great inspiration to all of us.

I love all memoirs, I just feel a person can learn quite a bit from someone else's experiences. To be hit by a truck and survive is an amazing thing on its own, as that rarely happens and then being diagnosed with Cancer? What a journey indeed. Joanne is a strong and remarkable person. Thanks for a wonderful review.
