Review of Waterworks

Another crime thriller trip to take with Lara and Uri. The plot is interesting with counter-terrorism and imminent danger of betrayal from double agents. I hope the duo pull off well as spies and yet survive. Hopefully, Lara and Uri save the day! Congratulations on the book of the day.

However, the pacing in the parts where Lara and Uri were doing their undercover assignments seemed to drag on for me. I think it's because the author put every effort into detailing all activities as they were. While the amount of detail was impressive, it felt like it lacked the action I had already gotten used to until then. The ending also felt somewhat abrupt to me. I know it may be in part due to the sad feeling of an amazing book eventually ending, but I also think the author didn't take his time to end the book well.

Seems kike an honest reveiw,so let me be honest too. It was a great thriler and a good combination of love and occupation. Everyone loves a good love story blending in with work especially if you the two of you are in the same kine of work. The action packed book entails good character development and vivid description of the actions scenes keeping me on the edge of my seat.

I appreciate how you didn't shy away from the dangers and difficulties the agents faced. It added to the sense of suspense and kept me on the edge of my seat. I wanted to know what would happen next.The characters of Lara and Uri are well-developed and believable. The book sounds interesting and as exciting as the previous ones about Lara and Uri, full of events and fast paced enough to make the person read the book in one sitting. And describing every single detail without being boring is awesome. Still books about terrorism are not exactly my cup of tea so I'll pass. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I have always heard great things about Jack Winnick's writing style from all reviews I've seen. However, I'm not a big fan of books about terrorism and I found it a shame that you were not completely satisfied with the ending, especially since this is the last book of the series. The is a fascinating one in anyway as the book depics how the team of Lara and Uri went as far as risking their lives to pick up jobs in a terrorist nation in order to find and stop the anti-American criminals. It shows a great love for one's nation. It also shows great determination for one to die for the lives of others in his nation. It's a piece for every citizen to learn from in a any nation.
Jack Winnick, the author of the book did a nice job, as this his book "Waterworks" is a page turner.
