I will definitely be looking for more books by Jack Winnick, but this is a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. Its overall excellent quality, despite the areas mentioned above, makes it worthy of the perfect score. If you are a fan of CIA, FBI secret operations-like plots, especially with counterterrorism, Waterworks is for you.

“Waterworks” by Jack Winnick is a fictional, but possible, story about a terrorist attack on the Los Angeles water supply. Teams of terrorists that were members of a Iranian anti-American group added Polonium to the water supply by dropping it in the water from bridges in socks that they used to bring the poison into the U.S. Lara and Uri were already in Los Angeles on vacation so they were deployed to track down the terrorists and find their leader in Iran. This is an action thriller that readers do not want to put down until the last page. This book is Jack Winnick’s 5th book in this series and all of his books are well written and excellent. I highly recommend this book.

I don't like the abrupt ending in any kind of stories. Thank you for the amazing review. This book presents an interesting and intense plot of terrorism. The idea is kind of possible to happen in real life and someone might actually inspired by this story to start a conflict. sounds frigtening enough.

How refreshing is this review? Well done! This gives much more detail on the book and what it contains. I'm even more excited to read it now. I like the fact that it contains a bit more then just a terrorist attack for example the double agents that's revealed. This gives a whole new twist to me. Congratulations on yet another BOTD award.

Laura and Uri are premier spy types from the USA and Israel respectively, and they get assigned to the same terrorists case in each book of the series. Pick it up today you will enjoy every minute of the reading!
