I will definitely be looking for more books by Jack Winnick, but this is a perfect 5 out of 5 stars. Its overall excellent quality, despite the areas mentioned above, makes it worthy of the perfect score. If you are a fan of CIA, FBI secret operations-like plots, especially with counterterrorism, Waterworks is for you.

“Waterworks” by Jack Winnick is a fictional, but possible, story about a terrorist attack on the Los Angeles water supply. Teams of terrorists that were members of a Iranian anti-American group added Polonium to the water supply by dropping it in the water from bridges in socks that they used to bring the poison into the U.S. Lara and Uri were already in Los Angeles on vacation so they were deployed to track down the terrorists and find their leader in Iran. This is an action thriller that readers do not want to put down until the last page. This book is Jack Winnick’s 5th book in this series and all of his books are well written and excellent. I highly recommend this book.

I don't like the abrupt ending in any kind of stories. Thank you for the amazing review. This book presents an interesting and intense plot of terrorism. The idea is kind of possible to happen in real life and someone might actually inspired by this story to start a conflict. sounds frigtening enough.

How refreshing is this review? Well done! This gives much more detail on the book and what it contains. I'm even more excited to read it now. I like the fact that it contains a bit more then just a terrorist attack for example the double agents that's revealed. This gives a whole new twist to me. Congratulations on yet another BOTD award.

Similar to other parts in the series, this one features an intriguing terrorist plan. They pose a hazard of polonium contamination to the water supply of the entire city of Los Angeles.

Waterworks is a thrilling counter-terrorism plot narrated craftfully by Jack Winnick. As with all his other books, this one also will captivate the readers with its fast pace and excellent storyline. The polonium attack at a water plant will cause devastating effects, and Lara and Uri will have to use their experience and expertise to prevent another attack by the Iranian terrorists. Congratulations on the BOTD!

I just read the sample and finally decided to get that Kindle Unlimited subscription just so I can read the rest later. Genuinely frightening premise; we're so vulnerable and don't even know it. Thank you for your detailed and insightful review!

Jack Winnick's "Waterworks" appears to be an intriguing, thrilling, and action-packed spy story.
The fact that each book in the series can be read alone makes it a perfect choice for readers who prefer to read series as well as those who are just looking for a nice book at a time. Kudos to the author for creating this series.
Good, in-depth review.

Thank you for the accurate and thrilling review of *Waterworks* by Jack Winnick!
Winnick creates his fictional stories out of current headlines and his Laura and Uri series of five books are all spy-thrillers. If you like that genre you will love these books by Winnick. Laura and Uri are premier spy types from the USA and Israel respectively, and they get assigned to the same terrorists case in each book of the series. Pick it up today you will enjoy every minute of the reading!

As mentioned earlier, I won't be picking this series up due to the extreme graphic violence and terrorism involved. It's good to see the audience showering so much love. Congrats on the BOTD.

I also loved this book. I hadn't heard that Winnick is ending the series. What a bummer!
