This is a book that would have caught my eye in high school. It's a good read, I like how descriptive the characters are and I can easily place myself in the scene. Didn't notice any errors, so overall I would rate this 5 stars. If action filled thriller mystery dark is your thing. I wouldn't skip this one.

I like how being assigned to a cold case just to keep her busy leads to her proving her worth and uncovering some gory details about the town she lives in. This sounds like an interesting investigative novel. I enjoyed reading your review.

An interesting gothic fiction with Tess as the leading character. 😍 I could use her as woman empowerment. The twist and turns is another intriguing part of this book. Congrats on being selected for the book of the day.

"Nekkid Lake" by Noah Bond. I read the sample, and what happened at Nekkid Lake is puzzling. I'd also love Tess for her ingenuity; she is only interning at Cobbler’s Knob for a month; being able to solve the case within that time is impressive. Thanks for the review!

I have always loved and be enthralled by the Gothic mythology, and this is not an exception. I like the fact that the book captures one interest from the start and keeps one thrilled down to the concluding page. The book is already on my want-to-read shelf and I look forward to following Tess Chandler as she races against time to stop another massacre.

Thank you for sharing your review of "Nekkid Lake"! Your vivid description has piqued my interest, and it sounds like Noah Bond has crafted a captivating Gothic mystery. Tess Chandler's character, with her ingenious and determined nature, seems like a compelling protagonist. The blend of forensic science, paranormal elements, and a cold case adds an intriguing layer to the narrative.

Your appreciation for the character development, natural dialogue, and witty banter underscores the author's skill in creating a well-rounded and engaging story. Tess's dynamic relationship with the experienced Sheriff adds depth to the narrative, and I'm intrigued by her resourcefulness in solving the baffling case despite being new to law enforcement.
