Review of Like A Roaring Lion
Do you believe God and Satan exist? These are some of the questions that this book answers. Like A Roaring Lion is an account of miraculous happenings and a man’s journey into spiritual warfare. In this extraordinary book, we get a first-person account of the miracles performed and witnessed by Robert Filogomo. In this honest book, he describes encounters with the supernatural in his spiritual journey. I got engrossed in the story as I read testimonies out of this world.
In this epic story, Robert details witnessing God’s healing power. Robert encounters the powers of darkness and witnesses God’s deliverance. He acknowledges that some people might be skeptical about his testimony. However, this does not deter him from sharing what he has seen and witnessed in the hope that he will encourage others to believe in the existence of God. His encounters will have you on the edge of your seat as you hope and pray that God does not fail in all situations.
What I loved most was Robert’s acknowledgment that believing in miracles is difficult for people. However, he tells it nonetheless. He challenged my faith and made me see the power of prayer manifested through him. One of my favorite testimonies was the glowing hand miracle. These encounters will leave you with a deeper thirst for God. They will challenge you to evaluate your faith in a good way. Roberts’s humility was also astonishing. It was interesting to learn that he felt unworthy of proclaiming his love for God.
The only drawback of the book is the editing quality. I found numerous errors that distracted me from the flow of the story. I would have loved to give this book a perfect score; but due to the editing quality, I rate this book a strong 4 out of 5 stars. I recommend this book to lovers of the supernatural and faith enthusiasts. This book is best for Christians who may have lost faith in God.
