Your review of A Tome of Order Magic by Kyle was comprehensive and honest. Your reasoning for giving it a 3 out of 5-star rating made perfect sense. Before reading your review, I sampled the prologue and first two chapters and agree that it feels like being in a video game lacking a sense of purpose. It's interesting that the author, Annelore Trujillo, uses the pseudonym of Kyle, the book's main character (shortened to Kai).

Thank you for such an honest review.
The cover of this book is simply magic and it draws my interest.
I do appreciate fantasy and magic. I also like that the author uses a pseudonym ( just like a dose of magic).
It intrigues me that the book was formatted like a video game, aiding Kai to improve his battle skills. Such a brilliant creative concept 👏
Congratulations to the author!!

I appreciate the attempt at humor. The unique use of 'mana' as a magical power source adds an interesting twist, and the formatting resembling a video game adds an innovative touch. However, the reviewer's criticism of immature and inappropriate humor, along with the lack of a cohesive plot, The plot lacks a clear direction, feeling more like a series of mini-adventures. Overall, it earns a 3 out of 5 stars, recommended for sci-fi and fantasy game enthusiasts, but caution is advised for mature content.

'A Tome of Order Magic' is a science-fiction novel by Kyle [the author's pseudonym] The book follows a character named Kai as he's unexpectedly transported to another world. The magical world Kai is thrown into is unlike anything he's ever known. This is an adventure-filled story with the protagonist trying to establish why he was summoned to this other world. The well-written review mentioned several downsides to the book but on further reading, I discovered that it falls within the LitRPG and Isekai genres where the negative aspects would be construed as wholly acceptable. Congrats on #BOTD.

From the reviews it seems like Kai was taken to the world of fantasy which he did not understand still. The book seems to be averagely done due to lack of a good plot

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting science fiction/fantasy story following Kai as he is summoned to a different world where he must figure out why he was summoned and how to control magic. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

The book sounds interesting and the plot promises a lot of adventures. But lengthy monologues, gory scenes and the format like a video game are quite a deterrent for me personally. Still I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I like science fiction where the protagonists are transported to another world, and they have to figure out why they are there. "A Tom of Order Magic" seems like that one. I got a copy of it, and I hope I will enjoy it. Congrats to the BOTD author!

"A Tome of Order Magic" appears to be a relatively new acquisition, which dives into the metaphysical subject of order magic, a specific kind of magic supposedly based on personal order, control, and organization.Congrats on #BOTD

This is the story of Kyle, an earth man’s journey to a magical world where the reader follows his adventures. From the sample I could tell the main character is a very funny one! I love that the book is formatted like a videogame, what a unique concept! Thanks for highlighting that! Great review!

This book seems aimed at those who enjoy science fiction and fantasy based video games. Despite the sexist and sexual comments, I think it has a well-defined target audience. The plot around Kai seems interesting.

"A Tome of Order Magic" by Kyle seems like a thrilling and adventurous book. From the review I can tell this is not one of my favorite storys especially when it has magic and surprises that Kai experiences. However, I will save the copy to read it later. Thank you so much for an honest and detailed review.
Congracts!
