How does a book that is not available until August 1, 2023 earn the Book of the Month award?

That statement is very true. Everyone needs to feel like their life adds value and that they are seen. I always hold my breath when I read a news article about a young, vibrant person dying and no cause is immediately given. My heart sinks, and I immediately think that suicide is the reason. It’s going to be hard to wait a month before this book drops into my Kindle library, but I am looking forward to meeting these teens. I wonder which one I will connect with most.
Thanks to the interviewer and the author for this excellent exchange!
