The characters, particularly the Lord Regents and their Prophates, are well-developed. The personal rivalries, political ambitions, and individual backstories add layers of complexity.

Raelynn's journey from a young Audilla to a potential Lord Regent is inspiring, and her determination to succeed in a male-dominated world is admirable

Imperium is certainly an interesting place making On the Precipice a good recommendation. I would love to read about the factions. I'm not sure if they are divided in a certain order but it will be interesting reading it. However, the complex nature of politics and characters may not allow me to read the book but it's an aspect other readers love. Congratulations.

This review really piqued my interest with its focus on political intrigue and personal rivalries. The clash between Banner and Liston, especially with the witty Kosabeus, sounds like a thrilling read. Can't wait to dive into this book!

Thank you for sharing such a thoughtful and detailed review of "On the Precipice (New Caelus Book 1)." Your insights into the world-building, character development, and political dynamics have truly piqued my interest. The intricate relationships between the Lord Regents and their Prophates, as well as the tension between Banner and Liston, sound fascinating. I’m especially intrigued by the balance of tension and humor you mentioned.

Your enthusiasm for the book and high praise for Brianna MacMahon’s storytelling have convinced me to add this to my reading list. I’m excited to immerse myself in the world of New Caelus and experience the unfolding political drama firsthand.

This book leaves me very curious and I would love to find out what led to Liston’s interest in Raelynn.

"On the Precipice" by Brianna McMahon has been excellently reviewed despite its complex nature. Congrats to the author on BOTD.

A sci-fi novel that features great world-building and well-developed characters is what I may enjoy during my free time. I like that the author use a straight forward approach to convey the story. I am not into political affairs, but I'll still give the book a try, regardless. Congratulations on being the BOTD.

I enjoy science fiction and space operas, but I don't think this book is for me, being so deeply rooted in political affairs (with religion playing a part in the story). I hope it finds an appreciative audience. Thanks for the review!

I love books that offer rich world-building and complex political landscapes, and "On the Precipice" seems to excel in both areas. The interplay between the Lord Regents and their Prophates, especially the rivalry between Cyno Banner and Levine Liston, sounds fascinating.

The reviewer has beautifully explained the details and plot of the book, which encouraged me to read the sample.
As the political Sci-Fci genre is not something I am intrigued by, I will pass this book on.
Thanks for the detailed review. :techie-studyinggray:
