What I read was a self-help guide " A Misogi Method" by Jody B. Miller, which gonna boost your confidence and give you a higher level of self-realisation. If you want to overcome your weakness and grow skillfully then this masterpiece gonna assist you a lot. I gave it a 4 out of 5 rating due to a few of its shortcomings. It's a must-read book

The latest book I have read is 'Entanglement-Quantum and Otherwise'. It is a psychological and philosophical thriller with complex and wonderfully built characters and an intensely complex storyline. I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars rating due to its confusing time jumps and a few other issues. Overall, the book was a good read. You would understand it better after reading my latest review! Have a good day! :tiphat:

The last book I read was today's BOTD: “Lessons to My Younger Self” by Nnenna Uboma. I enjoyed the sample so much that I continued on and read the entire book. The illustrations included in each lesson were excellent. All young people would benefit from reading this book. Parents could use this book to educate their children and seniors could follow the lessons on joining the internet. Wonderful book. @Merlefty0706

How to Get Rich by Donald Trump - 4 out of 5 stars. While President Trump may be a controversial figure, it is nice to get a glimpse into the strategies and mindset of one of the most well-known figures in business. The book's practical advice and personal anecdotes are beneficial. It offers valuable insights for those willing to overlook his controversy and focus on the financial principles presented.

The last book I read was Act of Defiance- a Jack Ryan Novel by Andrew’s & Wilson. I love Tom Clancy Jack Ryan and Jack Ryan Jr. novels. They are page turners that keep me on the edge of my seat until the final page.

I just finished Deceptive Calm by Patricia Skipper. I gave is 1 star. I felt it needed serious editing to tighten up the story and remove unnecessary plot line which go nowhere.

Am now reading The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon. Excellent and engaging story!

The last book I read was Chimeras of Estmer by Heather Marsh. This book is both a very well-written epic fantasy and a real page-turner.
There is also a lot of great humor in this book, and even a bit of curious philosophy. Some of the characters' lines are just brilliant.

“To be” and “to be like” are two different things, my dear.”
“In my opinion, being human means helping people when you can, and not letting anyone do evil things in your presence.”
“But it is wrong to make so many changes at once. People are just like apples. They need their time to ripen for change.”
(In this case, a character called Kemlilin talks about how he wants to abolish some old customs and laws when he becomes the leader of his people. So it's about changes in society.)
“As Her Majesty has said, a good piece of cake is the best remedy for any illness, whether physical or mental.”
“Do you know what makes the difference between rulers and common men and women? It's not their long lineages, or their fancy titles, or even their wealth and lands. They are different because they take great responsibility for other people's lives, and they make hard decisions by weighing the fate of others.”
“You eat, therefore you are.”
(This phrase, spoken by a character called Mirella, seems an obvious parody of Descartes' famous words, i.e. “I think; therefore I am”.)
“A dolphin may look like a fish, but that doesn't prevent it from being a mammal.”
(These words were spoken by Kemlilin in response to another character's suggestion that the villain they were trying to stop looked more like a nagging governess than an actual villain.)
“You will be free when you stop being afraid.”
“You're human when you act human.”
“The dead don’t pay taxes.”

In some cases, this author's humor rises to the true heights of political satire. However, this does not mean that the author is ridiculing a particular political party or someone's political views. Rather, her or his jokes are aimed at people's desire for power at all costs.

And here's my favorite quote.

“He had no good knowledge of any craft, no great ability for science or magic, and was a truly insignificant being. He had a lot of ambition, however. No wonder he chose a political career.”

And of course my rating is 5 out of 5 stars! :D
