Faye L. presents a range of technologies in her book with a view to discussing their implications. The author investigates those ethical, economic, social outcomes which arise from technological advancements thus showing individuals’ way out through these changes. A mix of theoretical analysis as well as practical examples is often used in the storytelling to make it more appealing to both lay readership as well as technocrats.
In its entirety, Me and the Machine has been commended for being thought-provoking while at the same time addressing issues that are complex but not too much complicated. It makes people think about their interactions with different media devices in order for them to adjust appropriately within a digital milieu.
