Reading on my phone is just one of the many ways I read during the day, so while not my preference, I do enjoy it, it's convinient and it's easy to select passages and save it to my notes app or look them up online.

I'm not a big fan of reading books on digital devices but there are cases where I have no choice but if I have to then its okay. I find that reading on a digital device is distracting like when messages come in or my mind starts thinking work I have to do on that device.

Hi,

Thank you for sharing. I like to read on my phone. I like to read on public transport and while I'm out in public (such as in waiting rooms). It is simply cheaper, lighter, and more convenient to use my phone instead of physical books. I already have my phone with me. It is easy to make notes and highlight passages in books without destroying physical books. I also like that e-books tend to be cheaper than real books. I still have a commendable library of physical books, but I have been reading almost entirely on my phone lately.

I agree actually. I never thought I'd enjoy reading on an electronic device that is until I gave my first ebook a shot. I am able to read faster and it feels more accessible!

This was my preferred method of reading in high school! I remember I would always pull out my book on my phone to read on the go in the car and after school, etc. Now that I'm older I feel like the small screen can be claustrophobic at times. The text feels so small so I usually opt for my iPad now. I do think the phone can still work if you fix the settings to how you like it and see your point about being able to read faster because the screen is more narrow!
