This is definitely not my kind of book because I do not like serial killers and I also don't like black magic but the review js nice. I won't be reading it but congratulations on making a book of the day.
This is such a comprehensive review. The first paragraph already made me become interested in the plot. Although not so much in the witchcraft part, but more in the mystery. Kudos to the author.
Murder under the moon by Sherri Lynn Dodd caught my full attention from the very first lines I had read. Arista’s story from childhood and her encounter with the uncle kept me hooked and made me wonder what was coming next. The time jump to Arista’s early 20’s surprised me a bit but the curiosity of what was coming next and what took place between the “missing time”, kept me wanting to continue reading. Adding faces from her childhood and a glimpse of what might have happened when she was a child was a clever touch to keep the reader’s memory vivid of the events that took place in the first chapter. The side story of her childhood school friend made the plot even more interesting as it makes the reader guess what role this person will play in the future. Even though I’m not familiar with the spiritual world, crystals and spells, the way the story is written and the way the plot unfolds, made me want to continue reading until I reached the end of the story. Definitely recommend it, if you like mystery novels and have open mind to the unknown. Thank you for the review
This books is fun and easy to read. If you enjoy reading cozy mysteries, you should read this book. The story is set in a small town where a murder shakes things up. The book has a nice mix of intrigue and small-town charm, with a lot of interesting characters. While the plot might move a bit slowly in places, the overall story is engaging and keeps you guessing. A must read book to all the mystery, thrill, and suspense lover.
