Nice review! This seems like a very interesting romance thriller that will keep you involved until the end. I’m going to put it on my extensive list of books to read.

The first chapter of this book widened your eye balls with suspence to want to read more but the deeper explanations in the second chapter about characters and settings gets you lost in understanding from where you were to the next. especially with the setting. It does not make a reader that has not seen such setting enyoy the book to want to read further. Aside of that, story line exquisite.

I get it is not exactly the same, but to me any plot involving "secret detective agents from different countries, fall in love and marry quietly" means another "Mr. & Mrs. Smith" variation. Don't say it's a bad thing, especially in the case of this action-packed book. Sounds quite interesting, I look forward to reading the book, so congrats on BOTD!

Readers get emotionally attached to Luo and Kate because of the narrative style, which is distinct, and the unusual plot. This gripping romance thriller keeps readers interested by focusing on issues like love, hate, honesty, retaliation, and jealousy. It is a thrilling read that will make you twice as curious about what will happen next. I will surely give this page-turner book a read.

It is easy to read and yet filled with suspense. The author gets you wanting more from the first chapter. There are many plot twists and also different categories such as romance, thriller, fantasy and drama. The more you read the more you are drawn into the characters and want to find out more and are eager to know what is next.

Thank you for your thoughtful review of "Howl of the Banshee". I’m glad you appreciated the intricate blend of romance and thriller elements, particularly how Lou and Kate’s love story heightens the tension throughout the novel. Your recognition of the complex antagonists, especially Beatrice Hastings, and the smooth editing, means a lot. I’m thrilled that the themes of revenge, loyalty, and justice resonated with you. Your 5-star rating and recommendation for fans of romantic suspense and psychological drama are truly appreciated.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading your review of Howl of the Banshee! The way you highlighted the intricate weaving of suspense with emotional depth truly piqued my interest. It’s fascinating how the love story between Lou and Kate is not just a side plot but is intertwined with the thriller aspect, making the stakes even higher. Your mention of the complex personalities of Beatrice Hastings and the other revenge-seekers makes them sound like compelling antagonists with depth, rather than just one-dimensional villains. I also appreciate your note on the book's exceptional editing, as it’s always refreshing to read a book without grammatical errors. Your review has convinced me that Howl of the Banshee is a must-read for anyone who enjoys romantic suspense and psychological drama. Thank you for the detailed and engaging review!

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad that you liked it. After reading your review, I decided to add it to my list of books to read. I am curious to know why they chose Kate over Lou to kidnap. Their husbands don't sound very nice either. This sounds like an intriguing book with lots of twists and turns. While not my favorite genre, I do enjoy it at times.

“Howl of the Banshee” by Dave McKeon is a thriller where Lou Gault’s wife, Kate, is kidnapped in Ireland. Lou teams up with Canadian Mounties and Irish police to rescue her, facing robbery, murder, and chaos along the way.
