"Howl of the Banshee: A Lou Gault series" is a romance thriller. This book could make a wonderful movie for the big screens. I appreciate the Irish setting for this book.
It's a beautifully written review.

Thank you for your great review! I read a few pages, and it looks like a thriller. Adding a duo of secret detectives, that are married, sounds interesting.

This review really caught my attention as a book that would interest me and capture my audience because it is a mix between romance and thriller/suspense. If you go to romance it becomes the book version of a chick flick and if it's all suspense then you miss the intimacy between important characters. You have the expected intensity of the kidnapped woman and the determination of a man on a mission. Sounds like a guarantee of action packed thriller to keep the reader interested.

With themes of revenge, loyalty and justice, Howl of the Banshee by Dave McKeon is a gripping story. It is part of the Lou Galt series. The action is suspenseful but with emotions tied into the plot seamlessly. Kate and Lou are in love and will marry but they wish to keep it mostly a secret. Lou stays in Canada remodeling the kitchen while Kate goes to Ireland to plan their wedding. Unbeknownst to them three formidable ladies are plotting revenge on the pair and the action ensues from there. The characters and storyline are intricately woven says the excellent review and it certainly seems that this is a compelling read.

"Howl of the Banshee" by Dave McKeon is a thrilling read that expertly blends romance and suspense. The novel features a captivating love story between secret agents Lou Gault and Kate O'Grady, set against a backdrop of danger and intrigue. The kidnapping of Kate by vengeful smugglers adds a layer of suspense and tension to the narrative. The characters and the plot are well-developed. I think this book is a must-read for fans of thrillers and romantic suspense.

Even if Kate were released on time, she would be in no mood to continue with the wedding. This book perfectly blends thriller, romance, and love, creating a captivating plot.
