Adolescent girls deal with a lot. 'Self-confidence', 'self-esteem', 'self-efficacy' and 'self-loathing,' are inexhaustive to describe what they deal with. Thankfully, this book promises a timely solution. I'd love to see what the book's core message is when I read it.

Having something to help teenage girls become well-adjusted and full of confidence in themselves is a great thing. Getting the message in front of them can be a different story - I know I wouldn't have gone for a self-help book in school, and I struggle to now. However, the messages within are key but I think the delivery is hit and miss changing between reflecting on ‘you’ and ‘children’ which sounds condescending in this context.

The transition from kid to adult is always difficult for everyone. Like the theme in the book, these young adults are to be taught how to be enough in who they are—how to be self-sufficient, have healthy self-esteem, and do much more.

This book focuses on the instability that accompanies adolescence, including persistent anxiety, self-judgment, and comparison to others. Many of Brandon's insightful tips are included in this book, which gives the reader enough confidence and assurance to feel empowered.

Since teenagers won't buy and read this book, I appreciate that the reviewers considered keeping it in a library where they can access it. As the book discusses much on inner growth and self worth it can benefit largely to youngsters. It can also be beneficial to seniors because it captures all the emotions that teenagers experience. Well done, author.

The review was honest and thourogh. Adolescence is a difficult period for children and parents, and there must be ways to make understanding the process easier and more beneficial. Providing tools and tips to do this makes the book a good choice. Congrats on BOTD

Being a confident teenage girl is one aspect that this book addresses. It's important to understand that self-loathing can be bad for a person's potential and I love that the book addresses that too. Congrats on botd!

'The prose is full of words such as 'self-confidence', 'self-esteem', 'self-efficacy' and 'self-loathing', showing how girls constantly battle themselves in their minds.'
This is interestingly educational!
