The premises of the stories are interesting so I’m looking forward to digging into this sci-fi horror book to find out what Disarrhoea, Fearground and Terror Pericolosa, among others are all about.

Wow, it looks like a thrilling book that blends sci-fi and horror in a collection of stories. Unfortunately, I'm not a huge fan of horror do I think I will skip the book for now. Thank you for your review!

After the review i must say that the book is a picture of our dreams as kids like we didn't know about the actual things but we made ourselves the heroes of every story and these six story have some horrific elements too that give thrill and excitement throughout I must say the reviewer give all plot perfectly so that people who love sci - fi can give it try

“Disarrhoea” by Kevin Vodden is a sci-fi horror anthology of six stories, blending realism and credible scientific elements. The tales feature grotesque yet imaginative plots, like a pathogen-induced societal breakdown and a horrifying thrill ride. Despite minor typographical issues, the collection offers suspenseful, well-crafted stories perfect for sci-fi horror enthusiasts. Thank you for an amazing review.

Thank you for the great review of the entire series. I read about 30 pages of this book and found it hilarious. All the adults cannot walk straight. No one can drive straight. Kids are not affected at all. Family members are outside and cannot go back into the house. The funniest part is the main character trying to get to the bathroom. It could be a movie someday and people would love it.

I usually love short stories. Unfortunately horror is not an area I am comfortable reading, so I'm going to have to pass on this book. Sounds like something a few of my friends would like though!

"Disarrhoea" by Kevin Vodden is an anthology of six sci-fi horror stories. “Disarrhoea” is a tale of the effects of an airborne pathogen on humans that causes disorientation and fear of going outside their homes that results in a major breakdown of society. “Fearground” is based on the dialogue during the interaction with the carnival barker on the most frightening thrill ride in the universe. “Terror Pericolosa” is about the exploration of an unknown planet by people from Earth that are planning on colonizing this planet. The other three tales include an expedition searching for the lair of gigantic wasps, a cooking show about literally eating thy neighbour and the assigning of intellectual qualities to dogs and cats that enables dogs and cats to express gratitude to their owner’s for providing daily meals. A very interesting variety of horror tales that are well written and readers will actually feel like they can see the action taking place. Based on the sample, I highly recommend this book and I plan to read and enjoy all six stories.

I love short stories, especially ones with a horror/thriller slant and a twist or two. I'm adding this to my list right now.

..."The Matryoshka Loop" is a head-trip into alternate realities, which is the sort of story I always enjoy.

Vodden also has a knack for producing sudden, horrifying lines for his characters which hit hard and stick in the reader's mind long after the story is over.
I appreciate that you provided a brief description for each of the six stories! Horror is not normally my go-to genre, but I am especially excited to read this book after reading your review. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

Thanks for the review! A sci-fi novel with a mix of horror will make an exciting read, especially when expertly woven together like Kevin Vodden's "Disarrhoea" anthology. The collection's diverse themes and styles, from airborne pathogens to intergalactic exploration and alternate realities, promise a thrilling experience for fans of both genres. Congratulations on BOTD!

I have read sci-fi and fantasy books, but I have never read an anthology of short, horrific sci-fi stories. And the stories are based on disease outbreaks, quite horror-filled, right? I will read the book, it sounds unique. Congratulations on being the BOTD.
