Great review! The book sounds very captivating and exciting, which has given me a dilemma. I don't usually read this genre, so will I enjoy this book? I think that I will put it aside for now, but possibly, in the future, I will pick it up and read it. Thanks for the review!

I loved this book so much that I own both the ebook and the audiobook. This is a fantastic story, with memorable characters. The female characters are strong and outstanding, and I learned a ton about Celtic and Roman cultures. Thank you for your review.

What a captivating review! I love how you described the strong themes of family, loyalty, and love woven into the story. Catrin’s ability to connect with ravens and the conflict between her and Marcellus has me super curious. It sounds like the author did a great job building tension while keeping the plot full of mystery. I can totally see why you enjoyed it so much, and now I’m tempted to dive into this epic fantasy!

Apollo's Raven sounds like an absolute gem! A blend of historical fiction and fantasy with such high praise and awards—definitely something I'd want to dive into. I'm intrigued by the Curse of Clansmen and Kings series now.

"Apollo's Raven" by Linnea Tanner is an intriguing blend of historical fiction and fantasy, offering readers a glimpse into ancient Celtic culture while interweaving elements of mythology and magic. The story follows the journey of a young heroine, whose fate becomes intertwined with the trials of her people and the mystical prophecies of the gods.

One of the strengths of the novel is its rich world-building. Tanner constructs a vivid setting that captures the essence of the time, drawing readers into the complexities of Druidic traditions and Roman influences. The intricate details provide a strong backdrop for the character's development and the unfolding plot.

However, while the narrative is engaging, it sometimes leans heavily on exposition, which can slow the pacing. At times, the dialogue feels somewhat anachronistic, pulling readers out of the immersive experience. Additionally, certain character motivations could benefit from deeper exploration to enhance emotional resonance.

Overall, "Apollo's Raven" presents a unique perspective on a well-trodden era, mixing history with fantasy in a way that will appeal to fans of both genres. It's a commendable debut that sets the stage for further adventures, despite a few pacing and dialogue issues. Readers who enjoy a blend of myth and history will find much to appreciate in Tanner's storytelling.

Themes of honesty, love, trust and family make a beautiful basis for a novel. The reference to druids, curses and connection with ravens sound fascinating. Thank you for your informative review.
