A suspenseful story indeed. Even the review kept me at the edge of my seat.
I was hoping you'd say what later happened but then I remembered...no spoilers.
I'm into mystery and not wildlife but I'll check this one.
Congrats on BOTD.

"Justice of the Wild is a gripping story about a couple of school children who become involved in the investigation of missing lions, and the adventure the children find themselves embarking on when they discover that the story of the lions is more dangerous than it first appears.
Great review very interesting and we'll written.

Thank you for your review. I read the sample. This is about despicable people who are after a male lion and five lionesses that escaped from the zoo. The setting is South Africa and two schoolmates are witnesses. This reminded me of a TV show "Daktari" in the 1960's. This is an educational and exciting story for ages 10-18. Congrats to the author for the #BOTD.

We really should leave the wild animals to the wild as they were designed by default to exist. Caging them up and taking them out of their natural environment alters their functionality. I hope the boys in Justice of the Wild by Michael du Preez were safe.

I liked that the boys were smart and brave, but still believable as teenagers. They had courage, but they weren’t made out to be superhuman. When they faced off with the antagonists, it was realistic that they didn’t always have the upper hand, which made the story feel more authentic

The plot of this book is definitely unique: one about missing lions. I wonder who took the animals and what they plan to do with them: nothing positive, I bet. I hope Ranpha and Paul stay safe in their quest to help find the lions.

Escaped lions in South Africa sounds like an exciting storyline. I'm curious to find out who the people are that the boys see loading the lions into the truck.

It seems to be that the lions escape from the park is not a mere natural calamity. There seem to be people involved. What is their agenda? Will high school kids Ranpha and Paul uncover the truth?

What a wonderful book by Michael du Preez! Based on the sample and reviews, it sounds exciting. I wonder if the lions will be found and would also love to see the adventures of Ranpha and Paul. I love the South African setting; it makes me want to get through the book even more. The book appears interesting and intriguing! Huge congrats on being Book of the Day :techie-studyinggray: !

The two protagonists Rampha Singh and Paul Patterson are as close as brothers. They attend Woodlawn Private High School, which is close to the Lion Park in Johannesburg, South Africa. When the lions escape during a storm, the boys quickly become involved. These kids are very likeable, and I love reading books about Africa, especially southern Africa. I've only read the sample, but the vivid descriptions of the electrical storm and the uneasy animals in the park drew me immediately into the story. The review was excellent.

I like how the book from your review of it sounds unpredictable and full of surprises. Who would have thought that finding missing would be an emergency due to their theft. I thought otherwise, that it was for the safety of the people living in the environment. Congratulations on BOTD!!
