Miracles at Angels Bend by R. Christian Bohlen is an inspiring book that narrates the life and teachings of Jesus Christ in a different light in correlation with the 21st-century world. The story delves into the lives of Dave, Josh, Larina, and Hannah, who are in a constant battle of life crises. They're all experiencing the harsh realities of life, and they have completely lost faith in God. Just when they have given up the faith, a dear friend proposes a book reading club, where they will be given a copy of a book that narrates the life of Jesus Christ, and then they will have meetings to discuss the book now and then. The author of the book is anonymous, so everyone will have to read the book objectively.

Soon after, each one of them starts experiencing an inner transformation as a result of reading the mysterious book. Gradually, they are transported to a whole new world of love, peace, joy, forgiveness, obedience, and total surrender to the Almighty God. However, their tumultuous lives have created roadblocks in their hearts, making it difficult to accept the person of Jesus Christ without questions. Will they open up their hearts to Jesus? How will reading this book help them come to terms with their current reality and find peace? To find out more, grab a copy of this book.

First of all, I love the fact that the author of the Jesus Book was not disclosed to any of the readers until their final meeting. One of the stories that touched me was Dave's. He was in a very toxic relationship with his wife Ellen, and the book came at the perfect time to calm the storm. I loved the fact that he allowed the Lord to take control of the situation in his home. This speaks volumes about the relationship between God and his creation. When we totally surrender to the Lord, He will take charge and give us rest. I really enjoyed Dave's story.

I am glad to have read this book because I was able to understand some things better. I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because the story was well crafted. The plot twist was also amazing, and I loved how the characters were transformed. Also, there were no errors in the book, and this shows that the book was exceptionally edited. I couldn't find anything to dislike about this book.

I recommend this book to Christian readers and anyone who is interested in learning more about Jesus Christ.

As a non-Christian, my first thought was that this book is not for me. After reading the review, I may give it a go since I like the setting. Fictional characters, encountering difficult times, reading a book that helps them come to an inner transformation. Kudos to the author for such a new setting to bring the message across.
