Thank you for an interesting review. I love the theme of friendship explored in this book. The concept of money heist is also a gripping one.
Good job!

This sounds like a crime thriller that'll make it hard for the reader to not like the perpetrators of the crime. 'However, there might be a means to help everyone. Doug comes up with an idea to rob banks and pocket the cash accumulated. He recruits Phil, Steve, and Bo.'

'Sometimes, when we encounter harsh financial periods, the expression "desperate times call for desperate measures" may come into play. What happens when your friend lures you into a risky scheme that'll generate quick cash?'
The want of money has indeed lured many to do plenty wrongs.

Heist is a difficult literature theme to pull off. Especially when the thieves have the most spotlight. The author's ability shines in reading the summary alone. I'm intrigued as to how it ends for them all. This is a capturing review. I know I'm going to enjoy this book based on your briefing. Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

This seems like quite the thriller. The author did an excellent job of making the reader empathize with the robbers and love Jay, the case-assigned rookie cop. The author's writing skills and creativity shine when the readers are torn between rooting for the cop or the robbers. Thanks for the recommendation.

"Homecoming Heist" by Tyson Collin entails Doug, a reformed ex-con, and his friends Phil, Steve, and Bo planning to rob banks, executing three successful robberies in a small town. Officer Andy and rookie cop Jay help unravel the mystery.

The characters are well-developed, and the plot is fast-paced, keeping the reader engaged from start to finish. Great review, it'll definitely help potential readers.

Fine, yes, indeed, we all had our "encounter harsh financial periods" at some points, but I for one, definitely find no enjoyment in remembering those times. Therefore, I don't really like the focus of the book and prefer to skip it. Congrats with BOTD, anyway!

So far the book starts off in my opinion, slow. Nothing exciting just a typical getting to know the guys. The way the story is being laid out you feel like you already know where the book is going. Its just for me feels know I'm reading to just find out what it is that there taking actually talking about of what happened. I do say that while reading the book you will get a movie like scene with how the author writes the descriptions of the actions in between the conversations.

Doug's plan appears to be extremely risky and challenging, but I'm eager to learn whether the bank heist was successful.

What a wonderful review! I love how you used some real-life instances as examples to highlight what you learnt from the book. You gave such a wonderful sneak peek for the characters in the book, which made me want to read the book and find out more about their lives. Kudos!

"Homecoming Heist" by Tyson Collin is one of those books that'll hold readers spellbound. I appreciate the determination of Goug to employ desperate measures to ensure he makes some money is admirable, however I condemn his resort to bank robbery. This is a beautiful review.

When I have to trust my instinct about picking up a book I often go for the short, crispy but detailed review that summarizes and reviews a book without spoiling the essence and suspense and your review definitely has that flair that will make a person pick up a book. You got me intrigued about this book with your review. Definitely reading.

After reading this powerful review I might like to jump into this book, as it sounds like it just might have some meat on the bones. I really don't care much for empty fiction - but this sounds like it just might be worth it. 👍🏻
