Oh wow! I'm really interested in seeing how an author can integrate their own dreams into the character's story. Your review makes the premise of this book sound much cooler than I thought from the summary. I'm not usually a CTMH reader, but the futuristic setting and world-building might be enough to make an exception.

Great review! This book sounds very interesting, especially about the dream sequences. I've always wondered what some of my dreams mean. Maybe I get a hint from this book.

Set in the future, Michael E. Kozak's "A Wildflower in the Dark" follows the adventures of 32-year-old Gretan Hutchen. He has died twice, lost his birth and adoptive parents, and is endowed with the frightening ability to see the dead. Can he survive with this burden placed on him? Thanks for your delightfully insightful review. I can see that you thoroughly enjoyed the book.

I do really like futuristic fiction such as this, but the paranormal aspect involving the dead woman and Gret’s dreams leave me wondering if this is for me.

Poor Gret; he has already had to go through so much and now he is the only one remaining of his family. I wonder what his family's generational secret is? Thanks for the review!

Definitely not my cup of tea and it is not even the fact that, by having it set in the future genre, it is more Sci-fy/Fantasy, but more the "War of the Century, also known as the War of the Apocalypse" that are at blame, since I don't believe myself capable to enjoy story set in a world devastated by them.

"Wildflower in the Dark" by Michael E Kozak is a book in which the main character is Gret Hutchen, a survivor of the War of the Century. The plot of the book is set in the second half of the 22nd century. Gret had a series of dreams that seemed incredibly realistic.

I love the urgency of "War of the Apocalypse" it is a book that involves a lot of fiction and action. The best thing is that the story is handled in suspense, and has a very good development. This is a great reading option, good job #BOTD

There's a lot of bad stuff happening in Gretan's life, and I'm really curious to see how the story unfolds.

An exciting suspenseful story for mystery enthusiasts. I like the supernatural element in this dystopian novel. The emotional depth adds layers to the unimaginable and thought-provoking narrative. I'm not sure if this is the one for me. But I want to know more about the dead lady that was supposedly in danger. Amazing review!

I always get nervous when I read a book involves autism, because so often these characters get mischaracterized in an uncomfortable way. It seems like this book may handle it better than previous novels I've read. Definitely interested to see how the author approaches it.
