This is a well-balanced and thoughtful review! You highlight the strengths of "Shakespeare’s Table", particularly its well-plotted mystery and satisfying conclusion, while also noting areas for improvement, like the characterization. Your discussion of the book’s pacing and how it affected emotional moments adds depth. The content warnings are a nice touch too!

This is a definite read, I love a good murder mystery and to make several characters look guilty as new evidence arise is key to keeping a reader in their toes.

Many people say a lie is always able to run 2 to 3 miles with in a minute while truth is preparing to come out but even on this situation truth always come out and it will be much strot than a lie. This is reason why I believe Jordan will be able to prove her innocence and be able to keep her department, as long she speak truth

Thank you for this review. I love a good murder mystery and the fact Shakespeare is in there too will add to the enjoyment. I’ve read the opening chapters and have enjoyed it so far. I’ll keep an eye out for those clues!

Not only that the name, Shakespeare pique my interest, I am also interested in the mystery around the professor's death. I honestly think that this is a book to read and would add it to my "To-read Shelf". Congrats on being #BOTD!

"Shakespeare's Table" by Howard Gimple is a gripping murder mystery that follows the life of Jordan whose department was facing dissolution, and who consequently became a suspect in the gruesome murder of her department's professor.
Could Jordan prove her innocence and also save her department?
Buffs of murder mysteries will find this book delightsome.

Shakespeare's Table by Howard Gimple is a gripping murder mystery where Jordan must find a valuable artifact to save her department while proving her innocence. The story weaves clues well, though characterization could be stronger. Highly engaging, rated 5/5 stars.

I love Shakespeare, so using the name in any context caught my interest. More so, after I read the description and found out the book is a murder mystery and, as an additional bonus, a "treasure hunt" for a missing artifact. Thanks for gifting such a great book and congrats wiyh BOTD!
