Thank you for your insightful review, Laney! Jordan's quest to save her department amidst a murder investigation involving Shakespeare's table sounds captivating. I appreciate how the clues seamlessly came together, offering a surprising yet fitting resolution. While the pacing occasionally overshadowed emotional depth in character moments, your 5-star endorsement highlights the book's strengths in mystery and plot craftsmanship. A compelling pick for fans of suspenseful whodunits and Shakespearean lore!"

Thank you for your wonderful review. I'm glad you enjoyed the book. A good mystery with lots of twists and turns is often an enjoyable read. I liked how the author wrote the book from the sample I read. It's funny how they keep making everyone else one at a time might be the killer, but then it's usually a surprise. I have added this to my list of BTR after reading your review.

This book will certainly make an interesting read. The mystery behind the professor's death and how Jordan would go about getting the artifact will offer the suspense and intrigue that the book needs. Also, Jordan seems to be the main character in the book. Shakespeare's Table by Howard Gimple is a must-read. Thanks for this lovely review.

I loved reading the sample where Jordan encounters Dr. Berg's head on a spike in her office. It gave me an idea of how the book will turn out. I will add this to my reading list. I liked the quick conversations between the officers. Thanks for the review. Congrats on the BOTD!

The artifact element adds more intrigue to the story. Definitely a page-turner. I can't wait to dive into the book. Murder mystery with the main character as a suspect. From the OBC'S review it seems that the author did a good job of presenting the clues. Which makes the book exciting for fans of this genre.

Shakespeare's Table by Howard Gimple is a gripping murder mystery with a literary flair. Jordan struggles to hold back her department safe, but she cursorily finds herself involved in a startling crime. It holds the reader's concern right up until the same ends with its unexpected turns.

From the review, I feel Shakespeare's table is not an ordinary table, but there is some unknown mystery attached to it. Is it costly, or is there some hidden desk that contains something important for someone to murder? Something to look forward to.

An intriguing mystery novel on murder, "Shakespeare's Table" by Howard Gimple tells story of Jordan who only needed one glimmer of light to keep her department afloat, rather she gets roped into a mysterious murder.

Budget constraints leave Jordan in distress as her department might get slashed off. A professor's donation of Shakespeare's table is their only ray of hope, but he gets murdered, and his skull is laid in front of Jordan's office. Is Jordan innocent?

I love muder mystery novels. I enjoy piecing together events and evidences to find the perpetrator. It feels like a hide and seek game but on pages. This book has made a good impression and i look forward to reading it. Thanks for a wonderful review!

"Shakespeare's Table" by Howard Gimple is a story about a lady named Jordan whose department is going to be cut due to budget issues. She finds hope when she learns that a table that was owned by Shakespeare was to be donated to the Special Collections library. Then tragedy struck and the head of professor Berg, who was going to make this donation was decapitated and left on a spike outside Jordan’s office door. As a result, Jordan not only needs to find the table and prove her innocence in the murder investigation. This is an exciting suspense filled mystery with many characters who may be guilty in this murder and readers will enjoy the flow of the story and guess who the killer is and why the professor was decapitated. There are many clues to follow but the ending will surprise most readers. I am also very interested in the claim that Shakespeare did not write the plays that he has gained renowned fame throughout the world. Professor Berg was going to prove to the world that Shakespeare’s table would show that William did not write his famous plays. The story goes back to the time of Shakespeare when Christopher Marlowe the best-known playwright and propagandist for the English crown is killed by a knife in the eye during a scuffle with an unknown assailant who had been restrained and had a smelly blanket over his head. People then wondered if Shakespeare was the killer and he took Marlowe’s role in the crown. I cannot wait to read the entire book to learn who killed professor Berg and more information about the man that killed Marlowe.
