There can never be an excuse for killing hundreds of people in a shopping mall, or anywhere else. Terrorists are usually hidden and difficult to find. I can imagine it takes a concerted effort from a number of agencies to find and eliminate them. Lara and Uri will undoubtedly help! Thank you for your informative review.

The novel effectively balances action and realism, blending fictional events with authentic details about law enforcement and counterterrorism efforts, making the story both engaging and credible.

Congrats on BOTD.
A high-stakes assignment involving banks and an enigmatic target is the result of Lara Edmond and Uri Levin's investigation into a terrorist strike at a Beverly Hills mall in the suspenseful political thriller "The Date Farm." The suspense, evocative descriptions, and thorough investigation were praised.

I could not tell that this was the fourth book in a series by reading the sample. The author does a fantastic job at making the book stand on its own.

A terrorist attack at a Beverly Hills mall leads Lara Edmond and Uri Levin into a dangerous mission involving the Chase and Federal Reserve banks. What are the terrorists after? With action, suspense, and intrigue, "The Date Farm" sounds like a thrilling read! Congrats BOTD!

This is totally my kind of read. Crime thrillers are my favorites. The summery of the book in the review sounds super interesting and I'm intrigued to know how they'll catch the terrorist group. I would love to explore the book.

Jack Winnick is a great suspense writer. It is easy to feel the tension and imagine the action going on. But humor? This I got to see.

The mix of suspenseful action, relatable characters, and clear descriptions of the Caribbean really stood out. I enjoyed how the author made the investigation feel real, but I do wish the couple had faced a bit more challenge in their escape. Still, it’s a thrilling read with just the right touch of romance.

I felt this review was right on point. This is the first suspense thriller I have read relating to current world tensions involving the U.S. and the Middle East. The characters were easy to follow and I felt Uri and Lara were easy to relate to in spite of their dangerous positions. The author clearly defined each scenario occurring in each part of the world relevant to the horrific attack in the shopping mall. The author was also quite clear on each of the different agencies involved and the communication between all. A definite recommend to see where the next incident will take Uri and Lara.
