Best way to read? Laying down? Sitting Up?

Don't your arms ache when you read laying down? The last time I read a book when laying on my back - I was tired but wanted to keep reading until the end of the chapter, my eyelids began to droop and then my book smacked down on my face. And it was a hardcover! Never again. I find I'm most comfortable sitting upright and/or at a desk or table.

I've never really had a single position I lay in when I read because after a whole it grows uncomfortable anyway. I usually just keep changing my position the whole time I'm reading.
