Physical and Abstract Antagonist

Is it strange or unusual to use both a physical antagonist AND and an abstract antagonist? For example, the protagonist has many vulnerabilities and fears (abstract antagonist) but there is also a physical antagonist, intent on destroying every happiness for the protagonist (physical antagonist).

What an interesting idea! I never even thought about this before, but I don't think it would be weird at all. I think it would be easier to relate to real life because so many people have more than one thing going on in their lives at once. And they could even be connected. Like someone with social anxiety and then also dealing with a bully at school? Totally reasonable.
I would love to see this more often. I personally love abstract antagonists in general....
