I recently read the Shatter Me series. It's one of the best I have read in a long time. It captured me from the first page and I don't get that too often.

That Book Nerd wrote:Well, right now, I'm reading through the Dune series (currently on God Emperor of Dune) and loving it. When I read a series, it's usually something in the fantasy/sci-fi genres.
I read Dune (the first one) for a sci-fi lit class I took once and I loved it! The others are on my "list" but I, unfortunately, have not had a chance to get to them yet.

My favorite series is the Giver series. In most series I read, I only like the first book, but in the Giver series, I loved every single book (there's four). I will be reading the series again.

I have several series that I have read over the years that I have find entertaining and sometime reread. Keep in mind that I prefer paranormal romance.

The Dark Series- Christine Feehan
The Black Dagger Brotherhood Series - J.R. Ward
Twilight- Stephanie Meyer
Vampire Academy -Richelle Mead
Harry Potter - J.K. Rowling

I could keep going all day. I am a fan of reading series. I like to see the continuation of stories and how they may progress.

My absolute favorite series at the moment is the Meredith Gentry series by Laurell K. Hamilton. I just itch in anticipation for the next book in the series to hit the stands to purchase.

If you haven't read this series then you are definitely missing some steamy, off beat faery stories ever!!!

James Patterson: Alex Cross series are my favorite. They were stronger in the first 10, but I still enjoy them. I feel like Alex Cross is an old friend.

I'm afraid I will never be able to get past both Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter for the way they have influence who I am today and because they both hold such happy memories
