Excellent if somewhat predictable. Dyer is completely "ice" as the assassin until he meets his downfall and "falls for" a hit.

7/10

Paddington- Great, family-friendly, and funny. I was avoiding it on the plane because I thought it was stupid, but I watched it at home and it's awesome!

Run All Night with Liam Nelson and Ed Harris. Top shelf actors and well done! Action packed and emotional at times as the two have ties that date back to Vietnam and were very close before "the incident". 8/10

My first adventure with Netflix and I chose "Iceman", which won several awards at the Toronto Film Festival prior to
the release of the film
The film, about hit man Richard Kluklenski,is even darker than the interviews with him done on Bravo! If you watch this film trying to find some kernel of decency possessed by the subject of the film. you're wasting your time. You're
also wasting your time if you had someone in mind who you thought might give Kluklenski's depravity a run for its money and offered them up in hopes that they would last until at least the halfway mark.
I lost on both propositions(I thought surely Jerzy Kosinski was his philosophical equivalent. Not so). This film represents a new nadir and am considering returning to The League of Decency to make all future cinematic choices.

The Kingsmen. It totally surprised me. It was a fun 2 hour ride in which you had no idea what was going to happen. The scene in the church with Colin Firth was amazing (and a bit bloody).

127 Hours, based on true life story of trapped mountaineer Aron Ralston, who had to amputate part of his arm stuck under a boulder in order to free himself...

Couldn't watch, much too brutal...

That scene was totally surprising. I thought for a moment I was watching a Quentin Tarantino film.

Gone Girl..........if i wanted to watch Ben Afflick and the actress who plays his wife have an " oral-sex fest " i would have rented a PORN FLICK!....

Thanks to ULTRA-LIBERAL Hollywood, it seems no matter the genre, explicit sex scenes have become the NORM.... :o

Gimmee a break!
