I have many but my all time favorite is Diana Palmer. My mom gave me a book of hers when I was 16 and that was my first taste of romance novels.

I would have to say at this moment...Nicholas Sparks. His writing captures me, and I can feel the emotions.

It's a tie between Connie Mason, Julie Garwood, and Nicholas Sparks. I am currently reading "The Notebook."

I like Penelope Douglas and Rachel Van Dyken because their characters are likeable and often humorous. At the same time the plots have substance and don't feel like a drag.

I am a big fan of Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. She puts a lot of humor in her books along with some very funny characters. Robyn Peterman is also a great author who tends to put a lot of humor in her romance books. They will make you laught out loud, so if you don't want people staring at you, you may want to read them in the comfort of your own home.

I also like Christine Feehan with her Dark Series books, Melissa Haag has some amazing books on shifters, Elisabeth Naughton is a fantastic author with her Eterman Guardians series, Stephanie Rowe has a great series call the Order of the Bade , Cora Seton focuses on western men and military men, Jennifer Ashley, Mary Connealy, Angeline Fortin tends to focus on historical romance, Katie MacAlister, and Jessica Sims.

I could go on and on about theses amazing authors.

I am definitely loving Colleen Hoover at the moment, but I have always loved Nora Roberts and Sandra Brown. There really are so many great new ones though.

Mary Balough, Julia Quinn and recently I've discovered Christi Caldwell. Hard to choose just a few.

My favorite romance author by far is Nicholas Sparks not only because he paints a picture in our mind of what love should be like, but because he always is looking to top his past novels. It is one thing to constantly write books about love, but it's another thing to change or alter how one sees love in there own mind in every story that he writes. He constantly surprises the reader with each and every novel and just when you think he can't do better, he somehow does.

There's no way I could pick just one bit I will try to keep it short. Michelle Leighton, Sylvia Day, Katy Evans, Jodi Ellen Malpas, Pepper Winters, Lyra Parish and this last could go on forever

I really love Lisa Kleypas, Eloisa James, Johanna Lindsey. (they mostly write historical romance, but they're real good).
