Books Being Adapted: News, Rumors, and Upcoming
The ones I can think of are:
- A Monster Calls,
written by Patrick Ness - Me Before You,
written by Jojo Moyes - The Girl on the Train,
written by Paula Hawkins - The Circle,
written by Dave Eggers
Thank you, @"Gannon", and @"v_a_redwood", for finally forcing me to get off my Duff to start this thread

It's been bugging me lately, anyway

Attention!
This is not a thread to discuss movies that have been released.
It is also not a thread to list which books you'd like to see adapted.
There are other threads that focus on those aspects.
This is only for adaptations that are already being done, or are rumored.
Thank you.

I've seen the trailers for both, and they look interesting.

I have always wanted the Dark Tower series to be made into a movie or tv series. Great casting as well. Can't wait.SparklingOne wrote:I just read tonight there has been announcement that they will be making Stephen King's, The Gunslinger, from The dark tower series. Matthew McConnaughey (The man in black) and Idris Elba (The Gunslinger). Cannot wait! January 2017 release date

I heard that as well, and I don't think they could top Tim Curry as Pennywise (he put me off clowns for good). But I think they could improve on the original movie in other ways.Beautiful_Soul wrote:Speaking of Stephen King I heard they are scheduled to make a new version of IT.
