Thank you for the great review! I do enjoy a good traveling memoir, and what's even better is that this one has a humorous side. I can't even imagine hiking the Himalayas for 28 days...wow! Congratulations to the author for accomplishing something so incredible and for sharing his experiences in such a great fashion!

When I read the description of the book on Amazon, I had to chuckle and that right there made the book sound interesting. Having a sense of humor is great in a non fiction travel book. Sometimes they can get bogged down with dry facts. Sounds like an interesting book. Great review!

The book sounds amazing! The writer's sense of adventure and self-deprecating sense of humor is captivating. I have to read this book! You did a great job on the review. :D

Great job on the review! I like that you pointed out who might like this book and who wouldn't. I'm not sure if this is the book for me, but I'm glad you liked it!

I love this type of non-fiction. It will be interesting to see how I feel about it after the sample :)

Congrats to the author on such a wonderful review on and being BOTD! This isn't my type of book but I think it is great the proceeds from it are being donated back to Nepal. Will be grabbing a copy. :)

I love profanity...and humor...so this sounds like a book I would like. Thanks for your insightful review!

Laughter is the best medicine! I'm sure this descriptive tale is a fun read! I might be offeneded with the mention about alcohol, but I would sure enjoy the travel description. Congrats on the great review!

Great informative review of Nepali Flat! I too enjoyed the first four chapters I read as a sample of this book of the day and enjoyed the realistic comedy (I'm not sure if I would dare eat the fish in a 'land-locked' country!). This sounds like quite an interesting read by one adventurous fellow. Two mates a foot shorter than a giant Aussie--the people Mr. Alexander finds to help him climb Mount Eve-Rest sure are trusting in Kathmandu! Thank you for a great review on a promising book with some interesting people aiding the author on this journey!
