Looking forward to diving into some unfamiliar territory this year. I plan to read several autobiographies and memoirs. I will push to read at least 25 books this year.

This year, I'm trying for 50. I would love to be able to read more, but with my schedule it'a hard to make time.

Woohoo (first post)! ... I'm hoping to read 20+ books this year. I'm an avid reader -- aren't we all, if we're on this site? :wink2:, but I have slacked the last few years in my book count. One year I was up to 62! Don't think I can beat that anytime soon, but I definitely hope to surpass my number of 14 in 2016. Hopefully reviewing books here for this site will help me with that, as well as for my own website, removed by mod.

I have decided I will take it somewhat easy this year with a goal of 73 book this year. That is the amount of books for all of my 2017 challenges...so I am sure I will go over, but at least I can relax and take my time :D

I'm not sure I could actually set a number. I read a lot of young adult paranormal, so most are series. If book 1 draws me in I'm likely to finish the whole series (if available) within a weeks time. I could easily do 50 this year.

I would love to read a New Book every Week. If the time permits. But to reach a certain Goal, I should be able to read a book per month. I think that would be my Goal too.

I've never kept track of how many books I can read in a year. I think this year I will start off very low with maybe 15 or 20 and then work my way up from there in the following years.

OoO! Good question. Including plays and textbooks, I plan on reading about 55. This is exciting. Let's see how I do!

My goal is to finish reading all of the published Douglas Preston/Lincoln child (combo and individual) books this year. I'm in the middle of one now, with 9 Preston/Child books left to go, 2 Preston (Fiction) books, and 4 Child books. So, I guess my current goal is 15, although I might squeeze in a couple of other authors here and there as well. Not even close to some of the other numbers here, but I'll get there one day

I'm not really sure how many I'll get through this year ? I might set my goal as 50 because I'm very particular about what I read, and hopefully I beat my target!!
