Great review! It sounds like this book has a nice mix of humor and history. What high praise to rank it right up there with To Kill a Mockingbird and The Book Thief, two books I loved! Congrats to the author on receiving a glowing review.

Wow, what a review!! I've got my copy and, though it's not my usual read, I plan to get started as soon as I can.

Good job, AbbyC, and congratulations, AC Michael!!

Great review. I don't often read historical fiction but your enthusiasm for this book is infectious. I love well written characters as well as a story full of humor and adventure. Congratulations to the author on this great review. Thanks so much for sharing.

Great job on the review! The story seems interesting but the fact that you liked it so much and compared it to The Book Thief and To Kill A Mockingbird makes me think I should add it to my to-read list! :)

I love this review! I might have passed on this; but when you put it in league with 'To Kill A Mockingbird', I must check it out! I hope it stacks up. ?

I don't usually read historical fiction, but this sounds like a book I might enjoy. I'm a dancer, so I like reading books with any type of dance element to them. It's always interesting to see dance from an author's viewpoint. Great job on the review!

I snagged my copy right away for this one! The cover immediately caught my eye, and it looked like a really fun read. After reading the review, though, I feel like I hit the lottery being that it was free! Can't wait to get cozy and dig in! Congrats to the author on being chosen for BOTD!!

Ranking it with two such great books...it must be amazing. It does sound very entertaining. Thanks for the detailed review!
