I currently read 2-4 books each month. My goal is to read books of various genres. Being a member of two book clubs has exposed me to boks I normally wouldn't have selected. I have tried an audio book and am currently reading on a Kindle.

I have no idea where yall find the time to read all those books. Work and family keep me entirely too busy to knock out 100 books in a year. I might be able to swing more than a 12 in a year but I've never had a reading goal before so I'll start small.

Some of it is for research jpatrick88 and some for recreation. Once I am locked into a book I can finish it in days.

My reading goal is to finish all of the books on my shelf (about 80 or so) that I have left unread.

I always pick 60 books and have yet to complete that goal LOL
(I do this via Goodreads)

This year I also decided on 60 but it's more likely I'll read some 20 books so that's what I put on this website :")
and by books I mean novels because I read a lot of comics and stuff and just those will be like 300 books

Last year I had a challenge of 25, and completed it by July- so naturally I added 5 more books to make it 30 and I only ended up reading 3 more books before the start of the new year. This year I'm setting my challenge at 30. I can't wait to see what I get into this year!

I will set my goal at 50. Do I want to read more? Yes I do. There is this thing called reality that hinders me from reading more. The reality of a husband, kids and a job.

Hello all!
I have joined the online book club this year!
My challenge is to read 100 books in 2017. I have noticed that I read so much less after leaving uni.

I love the idea of setting a challenge for myself this year. I'm hoping I exceed it, but I'm going to aim for one book a week, so a total of 52 books.

But more than the number of books I read, I'm going to challenge myself to branch out and read new authors and new genres that I haven't spent much time in.

Thanks for the challenge!

So far, it is January 8th and i have read 3 books which means that I may read between 100 and 150 books a year. That number could go up or down depending on what type of books come out this year and also on what (if anything else)occupies my mind.
