Superglue

Post by C0ldf1re »

Anyone who has had a drop of superglue on their fingers becomes convinced that it is the best glue ever.

They should warn you that the only thing that it sticks is human skin.

I think civilization as we know it would fall apart if it wasnt for super glue and duct tape and possibly a pair of vise grips.

1. Duct tape (for when things need fixing).
2. WD40 (for when things need unfixing).

This thread reminds me of something that happened once. When I was about 13 me and my friend were putting on fake nails with Krazy Glue. She somehow got it all over her fingers and then touched her lip and eye. LOL she had two fingers glued together, her lips in one corner and her upper eyelid stuck to her lower one.

I laughed so hard she got mad and threw me out of her house. Found out the next day her mom had to take her to the ER. LMAO

I once tried to open a small tube of Mighty Bond. Now back then I didn't know you had to poke a hole into it first before squeezing so yeah, I squeezed it pretty hard before poking it. Superglue comes flying out and lands on my hand, and then the smart me decides to put my hand down on the table.

It was so painful to pull. T.T

We have a glue called Tarzan's Grip and I can remember being very upset as a child when I took a closer look at the black, red and white illustration on the tube. It depicts Tarzan brutally ripping open the jaws of a lion. <shudder>.

There is not such a superglue which can not be removed. The world is moving further and further.

I have a long relationships with super glue and I just think about my clothes and shoes spoiled due to this stuff. But this glue is not good for wet materials or in frosty or rainy whether.

When I was in my teens I crazy glued a....uhhh...marital aid to the hood of my friends car. Watching him try to remove it was funnier than seeing it attached to a car.

LOL that's funny.

My step-father is notorious for parking his car wherever the hell he wants. When I was about 12..he kept parking his car in the bar's parking lot near my house. The owner would put notes on his windshield saying "you can't park here so stop it". This went on for like a month. Finally the guy I guess got so pissed he super glued a piece of cardboard on the windshield. LOL My step-father was pissed. My mom was like "well that's what you get".

I swear if we could get all the money back that they paid in parking tickets because of him we could buy a house.
