I think that this is both the right, and at the same time, the wrong answer. It is the right answer as it is the ideal one where a confident, outgoing, non-affected person would be the target. In this situation just being able to brush off-handed comments away is definitely idea. Unfortunately, everyone is not so confident to be able to do this.Amagine wrote:I just continue to be myself. I feel this would be me, too. Being who I am, I most likely would not make the extra effort if no one else is. This may not be the most ideal way to handle the situation, but I think my shyness would just take over.ifeoma obike wrote:I treat people the way they treat me. I agree! Although there are some times when I know the other person has had a bad day or something is frustrating them. At those times, I try to be a little more understanding and kind even though I don't feel like I'm being treated fairly.ifeoma obike wrote:I treat people the way they treat me. I can relate to this much. It's hard to change the minds of a group of people, especially if I'm just by myself. But if those people are worth it, then I should try harder.ifeoma obike wrote:I treat people the way they treat me. If people act like I don't exist or matter, I show them the same attitude.
