Great review! I think that this book sounds quite intriguing. That the author took biblical stories and fleshed them out into a real experience of the lives and times for the reader is amazing. Thanks so much for sharing.

The book cover is very dark and hard to see, especially in thumbnail size. I'm not a Christian so wouldn't be reading this book, but I am glad the reviewer thought it interesting.

Thanks for the review, sounds like an interesting story, even though I do not care for Bible-inspired reads.

Good on the author for the retelling of biblical stories! That is a task unto itself! Not my kind of book but nice review!

I like the novel approach the author has taken. The cover is appealing indeed. I am most likely going to enjoy reading this book. It may become tricky if from what the review says, the book has many biblical references. If someone is not familiar with the religion and the stories, it may be hard for them.

The author explained the book of Judges clearly and Gideon as a character stands out as a real biblical personality.I really enjoyed it.

I found this review enjoyable to read as it is concise with just enough detail to offer a taste of the reading experience of this story. This review actually helps give the story context so that one might follow and enjoy the book without having the author's knowledge of the Old Testament and Book of Judges. I would, however, have liked to know more about the writing style and whether it is consistent throughout the five different parts of the book or if different styles are used to create five different reading experiences. Thank you for a good review though. It piqued my interest in the book.

I don't often read the Bible as the style of writing is sometimes too hard mo me. I like it when authors retell Biblical stories in a way that most readers could relate to. Thanks for the honest review.

A novel based on Bible stories is not my genre. For those who like such books, sounds like this is a good one. Thanks for the review.
