This book really got some interesting twists and turns. Once you make yourself comfortable with one storyline, the next second u know, u have been shifted to another world. The story is full of mystery, thrill and excitement. The description of scene is so amazing it makes it all feel live like. Though there are some grammatical mistakes but overall its a 4 star book.

Is an interesting book and the review was explicit enough to let me with hungry of more! I mean the review explains perfect the main idea of the book and the story, without tell the story, also the book by itself is great, is the perfect mix of history-mystery and a life story is involved, I'm so ready to read it!!

It sounds fascinating how the author has used a romantic element as a background for such a real controversial topic, bidding for the expansion of the Panama Canal. I once took a tour to pass through the Panama Canal; its huge gates were mesmerizing! On the other hand, I also dislike when a book has a sequel, but it is almost unavoidable these days. Great review!

Thanks for the excellent review. I am interested in following this story of States wars, businessmen wars, and I am intrigued by the Panama Canal issue.

Plot twists that keep you guessing rather than the ending being readily apparent makes this sound like an interesting read.

I haven't read this book. But after going through this review, my gut butterflies can't reast until I have it. The book being written from multiple perspectives (as the reviewer saya, diping the reader's toe into the violent business world, while following through a character-Max Burns) is brilliant. That's the kind of book I'd like to read.

The Expansion was a very interesting and entertaining read and well written. Panama is taking bids for the expansion of the Panama Canal. Different countries are preparing their bids for the expansion. Political corruption and monetary gain help make this book even more intriguing. I am looking forward to reading The Expansion sequel.
