It is my first time seeing an image advertisement in the site? Is it the first time or was it done before?

I have never seen an image advertisment on this site before, must be a rare sight to see.

I see it all the time. I see it in threads and on the main page. Sometimes it's just text advertising...I don't have an example here, but sometimes it's like. I usually get banners (known as image advertising on this thread) all the time.

It must be to do with your computer or chance I bet.

I get it all the time, mostly ads for Kindle or audio books, with occasional ones on Florida or New York, no doubt a profile of my web searches. :D

I see them sometimes, but they are usually at the bottom of the page. I have seen that advertisement though. I guess they have to do something since this is a free site :)

I get a few along the side, mostly for vacations in Cabo San Lucas or the best resturant in Ti Juana and a lot of them from a geneology website.

I've always seen it. It's always at the top of the page on the main page and the forum pages, and in when I'm typing a post it appears on the bottom of the page. It advertises all kinds of things from beauty products to books. I saw it once advertising a popular brand of hair dye, and once it was showing an advertisement for release of the new Harry Potter movie coming out in June. I'd say it pretty much depends on where you are as to whether you see and and how often.

Actually I also see these banners periodically on the first page. And to be serious there is nothing bad in it, and even really informative sometimes.
