The Biblical Prose
-- 01 Nov 2017, 00:32 --
The Bible, although written by so many authors, of varying periods, was kept by scholars and/or scribes to be of readable format and of such beautiful style. In contrast to the legal prose (laws, decrees, orders, ordinances, promulgations, tax regulations, etc) which will give you a headache, the Biblical text is a pleasant and smooth read.

Thanks BookHausJ. I agree with you. The Bible is one example of clear and very readable prose.

It is really amazing. And just to think that these books were written by various writers. Thanks for commenting.

The prose adheres to correct grammar except that some sentences start with "And" and "But" which the editors here frown upon.
