Being a mother of three children isn't easy nowadays. I can barely imagine the hardships a single mother could face in the eighteen-hundreds. And if by narrating the tale, the author let us know more about the history, this book is very well welcomed. Thanks for the review!

I love page turners with engaging characters. This sounds like a great historical work; I love Jane Austin, so I'm sure I'll enjoy this!

Anastasia's story sounds like an opportunity to learn the history of a time period that many of us don't know about. Thanks for the review.

I really enjoy historical fiction from the female perspective. It sounds like this one has it all - great history and intimate characters. I can’t wait to sample it!

That's great! My love for literature came from Jane Austen as a kid following Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre and Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights. If the reviewer states that this book is ideological to Jane Austen, then I'll surely dig in!

Thank you

Your review was very helpful! Great job! I like when books give the reader a full look at who the characters really are. I think it is equally important to show both the strengths and the flaws of the characters because it's easier to recognize change and growth over time. I have downloaded my # free copy of today's #BOTD, and I am looking forward to the journey ahead! Thank you!

I'm not a huge fan of historical fiction. I enjoyed the sample, but it's not very thrilling for me.

Historical fiction is my favorite genre and this sounds simply amazing. I was already thinking it and then I read your review. Now I'm convinced. Even better that the author is descended from the protagonist. I can't wait to read it. Thanks for your insight!
