I love Fantasy/Science Fiction so this is up my alley. I also enjoy the concept that the dragons are portrayed as superior to the humans. I enjoy books that keep you "gripped" and you can't put down-sounds like this is that kind of book, with fast paced adventure. Have downloaded & look forward to a good read.

The prophesy thing can be really annoying, I agree. I’m also perplexed by the frequent use of apostrophes in names in fantasy books. It seems like a cheap way to make something seem exotic. From the initial description, I might have skipped this book, but your enthusiasm makes me think it might be worth a try.

As the review applies it seems like the end would be more exciting, not tragic, leaving the whole story worthy of the time

I like the concept of good and bad dragons fighting alongside humans. This looks like a really interesting fantasy - who doesn't love dragons, after all? I can't wait to pick it up. :)

Once again I find the rating 4 out of 4 to be inappropriate as the reviewer has mentioned some grammatical errors. No matter how “small” they were they were worth noting, making this book not perfect as the reviewer suggest. Also the reviewer most not read many dragon books because I have read plenty where dragons are not evil and/or superior to human. Furthermore 15 year olds are as mature as they need to be. Depending on their environment and how they were raised will determine how mature they are. All that being said this does sound like a very good book and I’m excited to read it.

Well, that's a nice review. As for the point where the author contradicts himself. I tend to think that it would have been possible for Ra'aba to command his two men to throw Lia overboard, only for them to either hesitate or defy leaving with no option but to do it himself.
However, I must appreciate your keen eye on this book.

I can not express how much I love this book! Don't usually read about dragons but i am wondering if i should reevaluate that. I didn't recognize the contraction with the commander until the reviewer mentioned it. Hope there is not too much more and damper my enthusiasm. Those things bug me.

A book about dragons?! How could I say no to that! Downloaded and itching to read it!

Ooh, I’m so glad that the book features a main character who is well developed. That’s always really important in a book. You’ve done a good job of making this sound appealing. Thanks for writing a review!

Great review! Wow your enthusiasm for this book is very catching. I love fantasy and dragons and a really good tale and it sounds like this book has all that and more. I can’t wait to read it myself. Thanks so much for sharing and congrats to the author on a smashing review!

I too wondered about Ra'aba throwing her when he had ordered the soldiers to do so only a few lines ago. It didn't seem to fit with his ego or the type of decisions he would make. If he would honor her by personally throwing her overboard (as a man who wants to become king), then he might as well give her a proper befitting burial.
