Thank you for this review. It is written with such enthusiasm! If I had doubt before as to whether or not I am going to enjoy reading this, it is all gone now! I love the idea that all 12 separate stories are part of the whole - a collapse of society which is all too real. It is going to be interesting and challenging to read this.

It seems the book is the type that makes you start thinking of the movie. Thanks to the review, I know the flaws to face reading the book. Yet to read it. Excited about it.

This seems like an interesting book, but the vignette format is not my favorite style so I'll give it a pass.Thank you for your review.

A book about a dystopian society always sounds intriguing to me. Using different vignettes to tell the story from different perspectives is a unique way to write a novel. It seems interesting enough for me to maybe read the rest of this book, after reading a sample. It's too bad about the grammatical errors because it seems like a fun read. Thanks for your review.

Short stories, dystopian and a cult? Three of my favorite things to read about! I'm definitely going to try this one. Thanks for a great review!

I like the dystopian genre and the vignette format. Given the sample and the review, I think I will like this book. The pun on Jason and the argonauts attracted me more.

I just sampled a few pages but reading this review has made curious about the LARGO. This will be the first dystopian fiction I will read. I liked the descriptions used in chapter 3 (Kneed). I also enjoyed reading your honest and detailed review. :D

Thanks for your review on Going Gone. Even though I had read the preview, after reading your review it helped me to see how the book was put together with lots of stories of different people. You gave just enough information without giving anything away. I also learned a new word "dystopian"!

This sounds very compelling. I like the dystopian genre and the idea of mini-stories told from different perspectives sounds great. Thanks for wetting our appetites for this book.

This sounds very unique. I like the idea of getting multiple views from people, but I do agree that not focusing on one character could be seen as a drawback.

I am definitely the type to feel unfulfilled by the vignette style. Just the first two chapters gave me a clear sense that this style is not a good fit for me. I also don't care to read about political relations.

I liked your take on the book. I only read the sample of it on amazon but I loved how descriptive it was. The details were thorough and interesting. I like that you wrote that they include more than one character to tell the story of what is happening around them. It always gives a unique perspective to things because even in a world of tragedy there are always very different views on how things happen. Thank you for being so thorough with your review. After reading the sample and your review I feel like I have a much better understanding of the book and its contents.
