Hello Gary. Thank you for your letter, just reading it made me smile. I too lived through some of the "ridiculous social events" of the 80's and am now intrigued to read the book to discover the laughter (and, it sound like, tears) that surely lies waiting within.

I have joined the club for quite a while now but haven't had the time to read any book. Your letter touched me and your description of your book gave me a peek into what the book is about.
