Now that it's letting me in, I like it! The only thing I'm not a fan of is the flashing symbols next to some of the threads, I find them bit distracting. Other than that, the place looks great!

I like the colors - definitely not as blah. Is there a legend somewhere for all the flashing colors and symbols?

I approve. As does Pudgy, who is sitting in my lap and trying to eat the keyboard.
How perfectly goddamned delightful it all is, to be sure.

Ok so people its been a week since the new forums, are there any issued or problems that you are having with regard using the forums, keeping in mind that minor issues may be present for a few weeks? Scott seems to have sorted out the problem where you need to post at least 10 characters but if you are having any issues then post them here and i will forward them to Scott? Personally i cant post pictures or images as i get a message saying im a new user, and also the google and yahoobot are filling the bottom half of the screen with ads and images, anyone know a quick way to get rid of that? If you do have any problems then let me know and we can sort them ou fast. :D

The new forum is working fine for me, but I agree that the images at the bottom of the screen are somewhat irritating and a few things were different but I am used to them now. I dont know, maybe some kind of a pop-up blocker would wipe out those images.

The layout is very nice, but one feature I find that I am missing are the links at the top and bottom of the forums for navigating back to the sub-forum index or the forum index.

Previously, there was a menu at the top of the forums such as

"Board index", ->"Community & Off-Topic"

That way, if I am many pages into a thread, I can quickly go back to either the "Community & Off-Topic" index page or the main "Board index".

Now there is a link at the bottom of some forums ("Board index"), but not the top. I suppose the "Forum Home" menu item works fine, but having the options for navigating among several links was very nice.
