I like the underlying message of living the most now as reliving life again is rare if not impossible. Thankyou for a wonderful review.

Anaya the main character of this science fiction thriller is a doctor and suffering from bipolar disorder. Anaya has a patient Greg in the hospital and his official age is 72 years old, but he is a healthy person and he possesses a watch that on rewind takes a person back in time.

One day Anaya while crossing the street gets hit by a minivan and about to die, in a few minutes, Greg supports her and takes her on a bench.
She will be dead within minutes Greg reminds her and tells her that she has an option to save her life but she has to go back in time.

The Watchmaker's Doctor is a thriller about time-travel, a watch, which on rewinding will take a person back in the past. So Anaya is back in the past and she is eighteen years old but with a mind of thirty- five years old. Now she has an opportunity to rewrite her own history very interesting and engaging novel.

Sometimes I wish I could turn the hand of clock back to better me..this book made me know I'm not alone, most people at some point have regrets and wish to relive.
To relieve is Impossible but to make the present life good is highly attainable.I'm having a rethink to do the very best I can to make my present life wow.

It's been a while since I read a time travel book, and this looks different for the fact it's most Christmas Carol style than Sci-Fi. I look forward to reading it.

It's interesting to know what life can put you through, yet look at it in a different point of view making it all look so different. It's very interesting to go back and undo the things that we have done in our life but the trick is are we wise enough to see it through and move on. Thanks for the delightful review and the though of wisdom entwined in this read that delighted me.

Anaya's chance to come to terms and even change her past is something every one of us had at least once dreamed of. Her story becomes even more interesting as her life must not have been an easy one, especially since she suffered from bipolar disorder. I'd like to read more and find out what happens to Anaya. Thank you for a wonderful review!

:lire4: :lire4: :lire4: I liked Anaya's relations with her parents. The chance to rewrite her own history sounds amazing. I would like to read all the books of this kind.

Great review, time traveling is so interesting. A ability to go backwards would be great especially teen years.

Wow, this sounds like such a great book. Interesting blend of realism and science fiction and I think anyone would be able to find moments they wish they could go back to fix.

The book sounds very interesting. How many of us could or would make profound choices that result in changing our destiny. Even with having the wisdom would we be able to spot where we may have gone wrong and make choices that would have made a difference?

Sounds like an interesting read.

The story of Anaya, a thirty five years old woman who is able to turn back to when she was 16 years old. This grants her the opportunity to rewrite her life and her past mistakes. The language used is simple but compelling.

I think the premise is interesting, although I´ve seen it developed a thousand different ways in books and movies. Ok, maybe not a thousand, but a lot. However, apparently the author did a great job and it´s worth the chance. And the message is certainly important.
Thanks for a great review!

The sample is fascinating but way too short. I would want to travel back in time with Anaya and right the wrongs with her. That chance is something we may never have for ourselves. Make each moment count. That is so cliched and yet so true.

If I could turn back time in my own life, where would I go? Suddenly, my life opened up before me. I know the answer to the question. If only.

Thanks for the thought-provoking review!
