Interesting review! Even-though I enjoy a good crime mystery, "The Warramunga's Aftermath of War" which includes child trafficking at such a despicable level of crime, turn me off. Children should not be treated that way, I know the book is fiction, but it would still remind me of what is happening now with child-trafficking, and leave me to think that there are dead bodies of children somewhere. Most of the novels I read on "child trafficking" usually the children are rescued before they are hurt. And again the confused way the dialogue is set can be a no, no, for me reading it. Thank you for your honest review.

Beautiful book we have here, I anticipate lot of actions here. I love plots that have to do with crime and detective.

Thank you for your opinion..

Thanks for your review. This book has an interesting plot, but I am not a war reader, so I am not going to read this book. I really think this book could have a big audience. Great review!

Thank you for the good and honest review! Historical fiction is not my cup of tea, so this book is a no-go for me. However, it does look like an interesting story for people who like historical fiction.

Ok, this book has way too many of the qualities that I like in a novel: mystery, espionage, humour, and a remote landscape. This one is pulling at my heartstrings!

Be sure to follow the encounters of Jamie and Jack on this second book of a trilogy. This is a criminal mystery story that you would love to follow.

I didn't get the chance to read both parts of the series yet, but the plot sounds amazing and I'll make sure to give my thoughts as soon as I finish!

A continuation of Jamie and Jacko's adventures in old school spying, sprinkled with a dash of human trafficking? Yes, please. Absolutely. I liked the first book and I've no doubt I'll like this one too.

Thanks for the review. I will definitely have to get the first book, read that one first, then begin this one. Your review is filled with a lot of detailed information and I am interested in reading both books. I love a good mystery, crime novel and this one seems like they will both be good reads.

I must admit to feeling some angst about reading your review and the sample, as I am still reading Book 1 and was worried about spoilers. Not to worry though, although there are many links to Book 1, this seems to be a new adventure. It’s interesting that Jacko plays more of a lead role in Book 2, though I guess it’s appropriate in an Australian setting! Thanks for a thorough review.

It’s a shame that the dialogue was so unrealistic from real life dialogue. I feel like that is actually a very important component of a story to make it feel real and relatable. I’m glad the story overall was enjoyable though and the Australian wilderness backdrop sounds fascinating. Great review!

I read the sample and didn't think much about it, but your review changed my mind.

It’s neat that there is a sequel to yesterday’s BOTD. I love that the author explores the pedos that are rumored to exist in high places.

With the mention of my country Philippines in the story is a sure come on for me,i am interested to know from the story the involvement of my country in the case of human trafficking which i know for a long time that Philippines is one of the 'hot spots' for this gruesome activity.I am sure the author has a good reason for deciding to come up with this theme which each one will discover along the read.It is a good review.
