I would like to read about the drug abuse and the accurate representation of mental illness. Sounds like a very interesting read. Great review.

The title of the book and at first your review had me a bit confused as to whether this book was one of a two-part series and the second part was located in a separate book. However, you quickly sorted that and I am understanding the set-up of the story now.

Your review has me intrigued and although I know that spelling, spacing and grammatical errors drive me a bit batty, I also know I can overlook them for a great story. It sounds like this story fits that bill. Thank you!

I was confused as started reading the book. I should have mentioned that in the review.

Just great review seems very cliche for what an awesome and thorough job you've done here! No offense to anyone. Im drawn to books that deal with the tough issues you write about here. I definitly will be giving this one a read. Thank you for the comprehensive review!

A book revolving around life in a small town, addiction, and mental illness sounds intriguing. "A journey of fantastical visions" does sound disturbing. Vivid descriptions, rounded characters, and worthwhile story should make it a good read. Too bad about the lack of editing. I don't think it is for me due to the intense themes, but I am glad you enjoyed the book. Thank you for your review!

A well written review. Character development and the theme of drug addiction are two things I want to see in the novel as two kinetic force.

Tragedies and problems are both challenges and opportunities to become a better person. They shape a person's personality and capabilities. I am intrigued by this book, how the story goes and its characters. Thank you for this review.

Thanks for your review! I'm not very interested in the setting; I've never really wondered about life in Iowa. However, I appreciate the way that the author depicted mental illness. I'm curious to learn about the troubles that are plaguing Les and his friends. I hope that the group will be able to overcome them and become closer friends.

“A Novella-yzed-AutoBio and Story” sounds like an interesting combination! Following Les for two summers with issues like mental illness, addiction, heartbreak, and death sounds horrific. It's great to know the community comes together and that there is growth and redemption here. It's always nice when an author can depict the realism of someone who has mental illness; it makes the story more meaningful. Also, I love the idea how there are people who help their loved ones with addiction issues. Definitely having well-developed characters makes a big difference in any story. Too bad about the amount of grammatical and spelling errors. Also, I don't think I would enjoy the graphic scenes, but I'm glad you were able to enjoy this one regardless of its flaws. Thank you for sharing!

Thanks for the review! A book that deals realistically with serious issues such as mental illness and drug and alcohol addiction is always worth reading. I will give this a read to know what happened during those two summers.
