Thank you for your review. I love being immersed in a story and being from a small town myself I think I would enjoy this book.

A story about life in a small town, covering issues such as mental illness, drug addiction might be a book to consider reading. It will be interesting to see how things work out for Les and Lorraine and as their characters develop over time. I enjoyed the review which provides good insight into this novel.

The story of "Two Sheldon Iowa Summers" set in a small town of Iowa and it is structured in two parts; part one introduces the characters and their backgrounds and some information about the small town.

The part two of the novel presents the main story and it is about the summer of Les and his friends and their days in the junior year in college.

Donald De Vries has described the characters in such a way that they look real particularly the characters of drug addicts and alcoholics and those who are suffering from mental illness.

After reading the first ten pages, I was very confused about the story. Your review helps me to see that there is something that makes sense in the story and that the beginning must be describing a mentally ill person's visions or dreams. You mentioned that the book touches on some tough issues. I am not sure about reading this book or not, especially with all the grammatical, spelling, and format errors.

There are many social issues in the novel, based on the review. I hope they were tackled comprehensively and with much care since these are very sensitive issues.

Thanks for the well written review. I am not sure if I will be able to get past the grammar and formatting issues. Though after reading this review, it does sound good. Small town life with issues of mental illness sound interesting.

This sounds like an interesting storyline that is mostly fiction with a little fact thrown in. Small town life always seems so ideal to those who haven’t lived in one, myself included. Your review speaks about mental illness and alcoholism, and small towns can certainly have their gossip mills. I cannot even imagine what that would be like. I might have to read this one just a bit more to see if it’s a fit for me. Great job on this review. I appreciate the insight.

It's impressive how the author addressed the issues affecting many in the society today, such as mental illness, alcoholism and drug use.Reading a book with less errors and good character development is the best treat ever. I will read the book. Thank you for sharing the review.

Thanks for the great review. It seems you quite enjoyed the book. Dealing with addicts is a big challenge in any family and even among friends. I would like to read and know how it has been dealt with in this book.

Endearing and genuine characters along with vivid descriptions of small town life make this book sound enjoyable. It would be interesting to see how the author portrays mental illness and other difficult topics.

Based on the official review, Donald de Vries did a great job at capturing the reader's interest by being very relatable about the real impact that mental conditions and addiction can have on loved ones. I admire the author for sharing his "Novella-yzed and AutoBio Story" in Two Sheldon Iowa Summers.

It seems that the author must have some genuine experience with addiction and mental illness for that to come through so realistically.

Sounds like a great plot with well-developed characters. Too bad to learn about the grammar mistakes.

Thank you for the review. The book didn't give a good description of what it's about.
